AL Systems’ DynaPack™ is a dynamic light directed packing
system that utilizes bright LED displays to efficiently guide packers through
their job functions. By replacing the paper packing lists with LED displays,
DynaPack dramatically improves packer productivity and accuracy. In addition,
DynaPack eliminates all of the costs and aggravation associated with packing
lists…printing, sorting and distribution, and key punching exceptions.
Therefore, DynaPack provides a rapid return on investment.

Dynapack Basic Operation: Packers
launch distributions by scanning the bar code label on the specific item’s
container. Bright red beacons indicate which stores have requirements for the
active distribution. Large red and/or green LED displays indicate the quantity
to be packed for each store. Packers simply pack the indicated quantity and
acknowledge completion by pressing the confirm button. Exceptions (overages,
underages, closed containers, etc.) are reported using a Zone Management
Terminal. Information on completed distributions is then uploaded to the host
computer for further processing. An integrated RF gun packing option is
available to allow for packing without lights.

generated by DynaPack and sorted by SKU and carton number rather than packing
sequence.
